About The Compute Wire
Daily news and analysis on the AI compute buildout — data center construction, AI chips, power deals and cloud capex, fact-checked against primary sources.
How articles are made
Every article starts from multiple independent sources. Our research pipeline gathers current reporting and primary sources, synthesizes them into a draft with claim-level citations, and runs an automated fact-check that verifies each claim against the original source text. Articles that don't pass are never published. Every published article lists its sources at the bottom.
Editorial policy
We use AI tooling for research and drafting, and every article is reviewed by our editor, Morgan Vale (an editorial pen name), before publication. We synthesize — we don't republish. If sources disagree, we say so. When we get something wrong, we correct the article and note the correction.
